Copenhagen Airport is Scandinavia’s biggest airport, and one of Europe’s oldest. It is positioned around 8 kilometers (5 miles) south of central Copenhagen, in the municipality of Tarnby (in the island of Amager) and 24 kilometers (15 miles) west of Malmö, in Sweden.
Airport was once still recognized as Kastrup Airport, since it is centered in the town of Kastrup, which was replaced by Tarnby municipality. However, the airport’s formal title is Copenhagen Airport Kastrup so as not to confuse it with Roskilde Airport, also known as Copenhagen Airport Roskilde.
It has two check-in terminals, Terminals 2 and 3, which manage all flights and share a common air passenger contest as well as the check-in area that contains customs and baggage claims which is physically situated in Terminal 3. A raising security test situated between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 enters the airside.
Terminal 2
Terminal 2 is home of both domestic and international services.
Terminal 3
Terminal 3 processes both international and domestic departures of many airlines.
