Helsingør and Kronborg Castle
A brief drive to the north of the city and you’re going to find the coastal town of Helsingør, home of the impressive Kronborg Castle. As a UNESCO World Heritage site, this area might be most famous for featuring in Shakespeare’s Hamlet, where it was known as “Elsinore,” but the real Danish royal history and Renaissance architecture are enthralling in their own right.

Malmö, Sweden

This is a series of imposing white chalk cliffs stretching along the island of Møn, reaching up to 128 meters above the Baltic Sea. A perfect spot for hiking trails, fossil hunting, and beach walks.
